Sammy Pea in Japan - How Cool Does That Sound!!! - This year TOAST artists have sent some of their finest samplings to Osaka Japan for an exclusive art show that I can only imagine is the finest in the land. I myself sent 47 prints all shiny and matted for the good citizens' full inspection. Very proud to be included in this show!

It was a loooong winter. But I did get some art finished with the help of my good friend and furry beast, Lillibelle.

Time for TOAST, 2014. This year the Art Walk will be on Mother's Day weekend, May 9-12. So in honor of Mom, here's a shot of Nancy Peabody's latest. My latest (Super Seer, Dino Shield, & Octo Shield) can be seen at 23 Warren St. in Tribeca over the weekend. Or on my "gallery" page right now.

New York Times: David Karpa bought a print of the Bonsai Tree last
year for his Manhattan apartment. So when David got written up in the NYT this week, there was the Bonsai hanging on the wall for all the world to see. Looking good. Punch it here to see the article for yourself.

Aurora Arts & Design Center: August 2012I have some pieces for sale now at this beautiful little gallery on the shores of Lake Cayuga, here in the Finger Lakes region of New York.

Auburn Citizen Article: There's a really swell article by Dr. Joyce Hackett Smith-Moore in the Auburn Citizen about my art. If you are coming to my webpage via that article and live in the Auburn area, you are welcome to come see the art in person at my home in Moravia. Just contact me through the contact page and we can set something up.

TOAST 2012: Coming April 27 - 30, 2012... Sammy Pea will be showing new art at the studio of Nancy Pantirer in New York City. The address is 81 Leonard Street in Tribeca. It's part of TOAST (Tribeca Open Artists Studio Tour). It is going to be hot, hot, HOT! Come and see for yourself. You'll be glad you did!

Powers Library April 2012: Original paintings by Sammy Pea will be on display at Powers Library in Moravia as part of the Made in Moravia art show.

New Prints are here: It's spring. The flowers are blooming. The birds are laying their bird eggs. And I have just picked up my newest giclee prints from Light Work at Syracuse University. They look great. Thanks Carrie, Vern, Dave & John. Also a special thanks to Ed Fausty for making the prints for Nancy's Tree.

Tee Shirts: So I'm in the tee shirt business! The transfers are here. The invoice has been paid. And the Devil Carrot and the Ghost Moose have entered immortality. Roger Phillips at Glenview Photography and Design in Moravia taught me the ropes and even took a few shirts to sell in his store.
Here's a multiple choice question... Devil Carrot and Ghost Moose are:
a) Space Plankton b) The Gingermander c) Organo-nanobots d) Ghosts of Mandrake Swamp e) all of the above?

I'll tell you the answer later.
